Dear Quilting Friends,Isn't fall glorious? Cool evenings encourage long invigorating walks. Garden blooms deepen in color and seem to influence our fabric and quilt projects. The "back to school" feeling happens and our family routines become a little more settled. Best of all, there is great hope that we will once again have a little more quilting time! The QT fun Fall event line-up includes:
WILD WEST SHOP HOP
Schwan Retreat
Hats Off to You Sale
Santa's Saturday Workshop
Inventory Reduction Sale
Fall class offerings include Still Stripping based on Eleanor Burns new book and taught by Leona Orendorff; Maple Harvest designed by Anka's Treasures and taught by Rita; Scrappy Sawtooth, our 1800's quilt project designed by Kaye England and taught by Rita; Nearly Insane Support Group --- sew on your own but we provide chocolate and therapy; Celebration Table Topper designed by Touch of Love and taught by Rita. Be sure to check our class listings, and post the at-a-glance calendars in a handy spot. Something new for Camp Lebanon Retreaters: If you stop at our shop on your way to camp, we have a quilt label (because we just know you'll finish that quilt) and goodie bag (extra nourishment) just for you. Remember our QT Gift Registry --- it's so easy! Just fill out a note card with your gift wishes and send us your puzzled shopper. You'll get what you really want, and your shopper won't miss a single football play! As autumn unfolds, we'd like to encourage you to take lots of time to nurture your own soul. Phone a friend and decide to spend a day or a weekend chatting and creating together. Let color, design, fabric and endless possibilities take you into quilting dreamland. Yard-work, house-work and work-work all seem easier when we've played a little along the way. NEW:
Give us your e-mail address and we will send you a "Hot Flash" of
our shop events and sales. We will have a new REMINDER: All Frequent Shopper punch cards issued in 2003 or before will expire December 31, 2003. We will not carry over or redeem partially filled cards. Wishing you a bountiful Fall, |

Thank You Our sincere thanks to the members of Minnesota Quilters who invited us to vend at the June quilt show in St. Paul. We enjoyed our booth experience, and were happy to visit with so many area quilters. We are enormously impressed with the amount of volunteer work that went into making the show so grand, and it was delightful to see how talented the quilters of Minnesota really are. We look forward to the Rochester show in June of 2004, and based on our own positive experience, we encourage all to support our state guild. - Mary and Rita - |
