Dear Quilting Friends,

Isn't fall glorious? Cool evenings encourage long invigorating walks. Garden blooms deepen in color and seem to influence our fabric and quilt projects. The QT fun Fall event line-up includes:

Thank You

Our sincere thanks to the members of Minnesota Quilters who invited us to vend at the June quilt show in St. Paul. We enjoyed our booth experience, and were happy to visit with so many area quilters. We are enormously impressed with the amount of volunteer work that went into making the show so grand, and it was delightful to see how talented the quilters of Minnesota really are. We look forward to the Rochester show in June of 2004, and based on our own positive experience, we encourage all to support our state guild.

Quilted Treasures is now a drop-off site for sewing machine repair. Mike Moss from Associated Sewing of St. Cloud will pick up your sewing machine in need of repair on the first and third Thursday each month. You can simply drop off your machine at Quilted Treasures the night before. He will pick up your machine, repair it in a timely fashion and return it to our shop as soon as possible. Mike is a quilter himself, and understands that quilters don't like to be without their machines for long. He has over 25 years of experience repairing all types of sewing machines, and is factory trained by Pfaff. Oh, and he's a really nice guy!
Pickup Dates: October 2, 16 November 6, 20 December 4, 18
Questions? Call Associated Sewing 320-654-1580

QUILTER'S GRAFFITI
What is the first stop a quilter makes when she enters a quilt shop?? Well, it's the bathroom, of course. We have added a bulletin board in our bathroom to post guild information, fabric searches, and generally any tidbit you may want to share with your fellow quilters. Pictures of favorite projects...quick tips or ideas...creative writing...anything that may be fun to share is welcome. Do not post any item you want back, as we will clean off the board from time to time. (Please note: this is not a space for business cards or advertising.)

SPECIAL ORDERS
If you are looking for a particular book, pattern or notion, we will do our best to find it for you. If it is an item we usually stock that we are out of, we'll take your name and phone number and call you as soon as it comes in. If it is an item we do not stock, we will do our best to get it for you. We ask that you pick up your ordered items within a week of when it comes into the shop.
